1. Removal of local chat...why do so many think that is anti-carebear? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Perhaps delayed standings or global criminal flag and maybe in lowsec or nullsec only show the number in local increase but not actually show any of the pilots portraits unless they are blue.

The only problem I see with local right now is that if a red or war target enters local people can instantly see and then dock up. This kind of kills those one on one chance encounters.
